James Wesley Rayburn, 70, of Oneonta, AL., a former Greenup, KY., resident passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Cullman Reginal Medical Center in Cullman, AL. He was born in Greenup, KY., December 24, 1946 a son of the late Willie Rayburn and Nellie Ingles Rayburn.

Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers Gary Rayburn and Bobby Rayburn.

Surviving are his wife Elizabeth Potter Rayburn, two sons Bill (Vickie) Rayburn of Blountsville, AL., and Randall (Peggie) Rayburn of South Shore, KY., three daughters Tangeala (Sis) Bevens of Urbana, OH., Teresa Swank of Piqua, OH., and Bobbie Drew of Oneonta, AL., one brother Timothy Rayburn of Worthington, KY. He is also survived by three sisters Willa Royster of London, OH., Jessie Potter of Worthington, KY., and Cathy Knisley of ST Paris, OH., twelve grandchildren, twenty four great grandchildren and three grandchildren of the heart.

Funeral Services will be 1 P.M. Saturday, April 8, 2017 at the Roberson Funeral Home in South Shore, KY., with Elder Ezra Burton and Pastor Gary Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Callihan Cemetery in Greenup, KY. Friends may call at the Funeral Home Saturday from 11 A.M. until the funeral hour.
