Christopher Wayne " Big Moe " Roberson, Sr. age 37, of Aragon, Ga., passed away Friday March 31, 2017.

Mr. Roberson was born in Rome Georgia on January 17, 1980, son of Clyde Wayne Roberson and Mary Elizabeth Roberson.

Mr. Roberson was a member of the Pipe Fitters, Local 72, where he worked for a number of years as a pipe fitter. Chris loved fishing and being outdoors.

Survivors include a wife, Mary Hall Roberson, a son, Christopher Wayne " Buddy " Roberson Jr., a daughter Crista Cheyene " Lighting " Roberson, all of Aragon, a step- daughter Dakota Reighn Howell, a sister Amy " Piglett" Haynes and her husband Dave, of Dallas, Ga., parents Wayne and Mary Stamey Roberson, of Aragon, Grandparents Clyde and Cathy Roberson of, Aragon, Linda Sue Roberson of, Aragon., and Pearline Stamey Cowart, and her husband Harold, of Rome. Many Nieces, Nephews, Aunts and Uncles also survive.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 2pm, at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home, with the Rev. Herman L. Stamey, Rev. Alton L. Stamey, officiating and the Rev. Little Wayne Roberson officiating at the graveside. Interment will follow at Floyd Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends this evening, Thursday, April 6, 2017, from 5pm. till 8pm. at the Good Shepherd Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will include Marshall Mathis, Joesph Deboard, Cory Bowers, Ron Terhune, Mark Stewart, and Mack Barnhart. Honorary pallbearers will include Bruce Whatley, Daniel Joe Roberson, and his son Christopher Wayne "Buddy" Roberson, Jr. The family request, due to Chris' wishes, come in casual attire.
