Benjamin “Ben” Strother, 47 of Cedar Rapids, died Monday, April 3, 2017 at St. Luke’s Hospital.

Celebration of life services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 7, 2017 at Brosh Chapel and The Avacentre in Cedar Rapids, located at 2121 Bowling Street SW, with Pastor Seth Watson presiding. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Brosh Chapel.

Benjamin was born December 5, 1969 in Cedar Rapids, the son of Eugene and Diana (Titlbach) Strother. He graduated from Cedar Rapids Washington High School class of 1988. He enjoyed being with his family and friends.

Ben is survived by his parents Eugene and Diana Strother; his brother Nathan Strother (Kevin Hunter); his sister Sarah and husband Micheal Strother-Masse all of Cedar Rapids and their children Dylan, Jackson and Drake Masse; his grandfather Joseph Titlbach of Marion; and his aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Lois Titlbach, Helen, Jackie and Louis Strother.

Memorials may be directed to the family.
