Richard “Rich” Kallock, 71 of Indianapolis, Indiana received his eternal reward after complications from surgery on April 4, 2017 surrounded by loving family.

Rich was born May 23, 1945 in East Vandergrift, Pennsylvania to Michael J. and Florence E. (Zanewicz) Kallock. He graduated from Kiski Area High School in 1963, from DePauw University in 1968, and Indiana University in 1970. Early in his career Rich was a social worker for United Way. Later he maintained his own health and life insurance business. Rich was an avid golfer and athlete, life-long Steelers fan, lover of jazz, and always enjoyed a lively conversation. He was an active member of St. Christopher Catholic church’s adult bible studies and Catholics Come Home program.

Rich is survived by his daughter, Reverend Michelle (Eric) Knight of Munster, Indiana; granddaughter, Diana; two brothers, Jerome Kallock of Greensburg, Pennsylvania, and Father Michael J. Kallock of New York, New York; two nephews and a niece and their families; two aunts and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents.

A private family burial will be held on May 20, 2017 at St. Gertrude Cemetery in Vandergrift, Pennsylvania. Father Michael Kallock, CSP and Reverend Michelle Knight, United Methodist clergy will co-officiate.
