Virgil Kennedy "Ken" Boynton IV, 35, of Sanger, passed away in automobile accident on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007.
He was born on Oct. 15, 1971, in Dallas to Virgil Kennedy "Kenny" III and Debbie Ruth (Greener) Boynton. He graduated from Sanger High School in 1990. He was a graduate of the Art Institute of Dallas in Computer Graphics. He married Leigh Anne Gillam in Lewisville on Oct. 30, 1993. He is employed by Federal Heath Signs as a computer graphic artist. He is a member of the Cross Timbers Country Church in Argyle.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007, at the Church of Christ, 100 North Fifth Street, Sanger. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at the Church of Christ, 100 N. Fifth Street, Sanger, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Boynton, Brian Rambo, Scotty Rambo, Brent Carpenter, Eric Carpenter, Jerry Carpenter, Jerry Galler, and Dennis Yates.
He is survived by wife, Leigh Ann of Carrollton; son, Kennedy Lee Boynton of Carrollton; parents, Kenny and Debbie Boynton of Sanger; brothers, Danny Boynton and wife Denise of Krum, and Beau Boynton and fiancé, Ashley Hidalgo of Sanger; nieces, Taylon and Blayne Boynton of Krum; paternal grandmother, Ruth Boynton of Sanger; maternal grandmother, Irene Greener of Denton; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that memorials be made to the Trust Fund for Kennedy Boynton. These memorials may be made to any Chase Bank.
