Sherry Brill Helton, 57, of Elizabethtown, died April 4, 2017 at Hardin Memorial Hospital. She was a native of Hardin County and a member of Lakeside Worship Center, where she was the facilitator for Living Free Ministries, was a nursery worker and assisted her husband with Flames of Fire Music Ministry. She formerly worked at Roy's Furniture, loved theatre and interior design. She loved being a mom and loved her family. She is survived by her husband of 9 years, John Helton; four daughters, Randi Smith of Elizabethtown, Erika Rains of Port St. Lucie, FL, Courtney Helton and Mariah Helton both of Elizabethtown; one son, Zachary Helton of Elizabethtown; parents, Roy and Joyce Brill of Elizabethtown; sister, Sheila (Mike) Sekela of Lexington; and six grandchildren, Dakota Brill, Sierra Rains, Canyon Rains, Nevada Rains, Chase Smith, and Brooklynn Smith. The funeral will be Friday at 1 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Nickels officiating. Burial follows at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery.
