Dorothy Louise Neff, 76, of Jasonville, left this world peacefully in her sleep and joined the Lord on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton.
Dorothy was born in Pleasantville, on January 14, 1941 to Oliver Linn and Alvina Kardokus Linn. She married her loving husband, Hershel Neff Jr. of Jasonville on June 14, 1963. She was a member of Jasonville First Baptist Church.
She was employed at Jasonville cord factory until they closed. Her hobbies included hand embroidering, gardening, and she loved her house dogs.
Survivors include three sons and daughters-in-law, Hershel Neff III (Michelle) of Linton, Aaron Neff (Kelly) of Dugger and Aric Neff (Cristy) of Linton, six grandchildren, Ethan, Clayton, Sierra, Wyatt, Cody and Emily, one great grandchild, Kalvin, two step grandchildren, Tiffany Batchelor of Brazil and Robert Johnson of Denver, Col., four step great grandchildren, one sister, Clara Linn Cazzell of Dugger, and one brother, James Linn of Farmersburg.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Alma Linn Owens and Glady Mae Linn, one brother, William Samual Linn and her husband, Hershel Neff Jr.
Funeral services will be held at Newkirk’s Funeral Home in Dugger at 1 p.m. on Friday, April 7, with Pastor Mike Rotman officiating. Visitation will be Thursday, April 6 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m..
