He graduated from Washington State college in Pullman, Wash. Joined a utility company as maintenance man in Great Falls in 1935. Married Alberta McVey [June 14] 1941 at Great FAlls. He was transferred to Thompson Falls in 1950 and became plant foreman the next year. He had lived in Helena since an became the plant foreman at Hauser Lake in 1957. He retired in 1969. Died at his home in Helena. Ashes were interred in Choteau Cemetery under the direction of Retz Funeral Home of Helena.

Survivors include his wife; daughter, Pat Conrad of Rathdrum, ID; sister, Frances Maurer of Fairfield; and one grandson.--Information from obituary in the Great Falls Tribune, Thursday, Jan. 10, 1985, Pg. 10A
