Thomas Edward Goetz, 94, Salisbury, PA, died Friday, March 31, 2017, at his residence.

Born May 28, 1922, at Fayetteville, PA, he was the son of the late Max W. Goetz & Emma (McKenzie) Goetz Imboden. Mr. Goetz was preceded in death by a brother, Jack K. Goetz and a sister, Helen Palmer.

Mr. Goetz was a U.S. Air Force Lt. Col retiring after 22 years of active duty and served in the National Guard for 10 years, retiring in 1976.
He was a command pilot and was a cadet at the time of U.S. Army/Air Corps prior to the U.S. Air Force and received his wings at Ellington Air Force Base.

Mr. Goetz was a lifetime member of the VFW and Military Officers and member of the American Legion. He enjoyed developing land and the outdoors and outdoors sports.

Surviving is his wife, Margie G. (Gnagey) Goetz; one son, Michael Goetz; two daughters, Shirley Jablonski, Linda Riffle; one brother, Max Goetz and numerous grandchildren & great-grandchildren.

Private services were held in the Salisbury Cemetery.
