Irma Geraldine Hickman Moran, age 76, died Tuesday, November 8, 2011, at Saint Joseph Hospital, in Lexington, Kentucky. She was born on April 22, 1935, to the late Frank and Irma Lilly Jones Hickman. She was a member of Senior Friends, Silver Sneakers at Limestone YMCA and Homemakers.
Geraldine is survived by: her husband, James Henry Moran; four daughters, Glenda (Bob) Huddleston, of Maysville, Beverly (Chuck) Polley, of Troy, Ohio, Ellie Moran, of Germantown, and Lisa (Dennis) Truesdell, of Orangeburg; nine grandchildren, Rob (Amber) Huddleston, James (Brandie) Huddleston, Samantha (Carl) Sexton, Bradley (Jennifer) Polley, Jason Polley, Jessica (Frank) Hackney, Megan Moran, Nathan Truesdell and Tamatha (Dwayne) Meadows; seven great-grand- children; three brothers, Gene Hickman, Eddie (Elsie) Hickman and Wallace (Betty) Hickman; and two sisters, Dorothy Moran and Mary (Curtis) Ginn. She was preceded in death by one sister, Delores Hickman.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday at Palmer Funeral Home, in Germantown. Burial will be at Maple Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Memorials may be made to charity of choice.
