Aaron Neal Deaton was relieved from his earthly body to be in the presence of the Lord April 4, 2017.

Aaron was born September 12, 1973 to Dean and Janet Deaton in Montgomery County, Ohio.

They moved to Rossville, Indiana when Aaron was one year old. He spent many happy hours as a boy visiting his grandparents. Aaron moved to Washington in 1991 after spending the previous summer in harvest. Aaron accepted the Lord, and was baptized on January 11, 1992. August 7, 1993 Aaron was married to Marleta (Brubaker). They spent nearly twenty- four wonderful years together in holy matrimony. This union was blessed with six children. Aaron enjoyed farming, trucking, and building relationships with his customers. He was able to spend the last part of his life doing office work from home. Aaron was called to the deacon’s office in 2000. Seven years later he was called to serve as a minister. In June 2016 Aaron was diagnosed with Esophageal Cancer. We tried to live our life as normal as possible for the past year. We spent many happy hours despite the cancer. Aaron enjoyed family time together. Aaron also enjoyed having the young folks in our home, and always wanted them to feel welcome. He always wanted them to consider their life choices: Eternity is a long time! He also enjoyed children and would often be seen with a child in his arms.

Relationships of all ages were always an important role in Aaron’s life, community and brotherhood alike. He loved his family deeply, some of his last words were to his wife, “I love you too”. His love for his children was great. The dating relationships of his older children were important to him, and he loved each one as his own.

Awaiting the change of our mortal bodies to that reunion in the skies, are his wife, Marleta Brubaker Deaton; daughter Monica Deaton (Fiancé Brandon Flora); son Craig Deaton (special friend Kelly Lavy); son Dallas Deaton (special friend Mikaela Root); daughter Nicole Deaton (special friend Kirgan Flora); son Derek Deaton; son Robert Deaton; parents Dean and Janet Deaton; parents-in-law David and Ruthie Brubaker; sister Amy( Luke) Flory; brother Adam(Sarah)Deaton; twenty-two brothers and sisters in laws; and many nieces, nephews and friends. He remained a faithful servant to his Lord until the end. His words to us would be to ever be faithful and keep pressing to the goal of a heavenly reunion with our Lord.

Visitation will be at the Everett & Sandy Wray home on Saturday, April 7, 2017 at 1:00 to 8:00 PM and the funeral will be at the Columbia River, Old German Baptist Brethren Church NC at 10:00 AM on Sunday April 8, 2017. Burial in the adjoining cemetery.
