MRS. JUANITA "JEAN" BELL, AGE 83
Mrs. Juanita "Jean" Bell, age 83 of Robinson, IL, died Wednesday March 29, 2017 at 2:27 AM at Union Hospital – Clinton, IN following a brief illness.
Born April 3, 1933 in Crawford County, IL at the family home just South of Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, rural Flat Rock, IL, she was the daughter of Guy and Irene (Goff) Mefford. Jean married Fred Warner, and he preceded her in death. She was married again, to Denzil Stephens who also preceded her in death. On September 21, 1991, she married Lelan Earl Bell and he died March 31, 2013.
Jean worked for Robinson Manufacturing, Ettlebrick Shoe Factory for many years and did cleaning for individuals and business in the area. She was a member of the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, Flat Rock, IL.
Survivors include a sister, Mary Mefford, Robinson, IL; many nieces and nephews, including her niece Melanie Rinehart, Clinton, IN, a nephew and spouse, Russell and Cindy Mefford, Indianapolis, IN, Vince & Tiffany Tapley, Paris, IL., Brent Rinehart, Clinton, IN, Katie Mefford, Indianapolis, IN., Braxton Snodgrass, Jeremiah Tapley & Miley Tapley; a very special cousin, Cheryl Mefford, Palestine, IL, twelve step-children and several step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Fred Warner; Denzil Stephens and Lelan Earl Bell
A funeral service will be conducted Saturday April 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge United Methodist Church, rural Flat Rock, IL with Dr. Fred White officiating. Visitation will be Friday March 31, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Pulliam Funeral Home, Robinson, IL. Burial will follow funeral services in the Robinson New Cemetery, Robinson, IL.
