Patricia May (Murphy) Sprague, 67, of Morrill, Maine, died peacefully, surrounded by her loved ones, March 20, 2017, at Waldo County General Hospital in Belfast. Born Dec. 6, 1949, in Belfast, she was predeceased by her parents, Osborne and Priscilla (Smith) Murphy of Waldo.
Patricia graduated from Belfast Area High School, class of 1968, where she was a member of several clubs including G.A.A. (Girls Athletic Activity), as a majorette. In 1978 she attended D'Lor Beauty School, in Brewer, to study cosmetology. She graduated highest in her class, and became a licensed Cosmetologist in 1979. She started her professional career at Beautique Hair Fashion in Belfast. Patricia also enjoyed working in her many gardens, feeding the wildlife, and her beloved German Shepherds.
