Louis was born on January 23, 1932 in Louisville, to the late Jay and Nellie Martin.
He served our country in the U.S. Air Force and retired after 40 years from Ford Motor Company. Louis was also a member of Preston Masonic Lodge #281, and the Order of Eastern Star Purity 116.
Along with his parents; his first wife, Betty Jo Martin and his sister, Carol Campbell has preceded him in death.
Here to carry on his memory are his wife of 24 years, Sarah Vissman Martin; children, Sharon Wilmot, Dawn Vittitow (Jeff), Gina Whitlock (James) and Andrew Martin (Nicole); along with seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will take place Friday, April 7, 2017 from 1-8pm. The service will take place on 12pm Saturday at the funeral home, with entombment to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
