Nancy Tuttle Kirk, 80, went home to be with her Lord April 3, 2017.
Funeral Services celebrating her life will be held 11:00AM Wednesday April 5, 2017 at First Baptist Church of Kernersville with Dr. Stephen Martin officiating. Interment will follow in Isom Baptist Church Cemetery in Walnut Cove.
A native of Stokes County, Nancy was the daughter of the late Virginia Dare Smith and Samuel Edgar Tuttle. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Wake Forest University. With her Degree in Medical Technology Nancy would have a career in the microbiology technology field at Wake Forest Baptist Hospital.
She was a longtime member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Friendship Sunday School Class and Chairperson of the Meals Team.
In addition to her parents, she also was preceded in death by her daughter Laura Vaughn Kirk.
Survivors include her loving husband of 57 years William “Bill” Kirk of the home; sons William Hailey Kirk, III and Margaret Anna of Franklin, TN, and Samuel Tyler Kirk and Heather Lynn of Matthews, NC; grandchildren Sarah Anna, Will, Ella, and Eva.
