Juniata resident, Rebecca “Becky” S. Johnston, 52, passed away Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Mary Lanning Healthcare, Hastings, Nebraska.
Celebration of life will be Friday, April 7, 2017; 10:30 A.M. at Lakeside Community Church of the Nazarene with Pastor John Whitsett officiating. Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the family for a memorial to be established at a later date.
Becky was born October 15, 1964 to Donald & Maxine (Faber) Zeckser in Hastings, Nebraska. She graduated from St. Cecilia Catholic School in 1982 and attended Central Community College for two years. Becky married Jonathan “Jon” Johnston on September 21, 1996 at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church and to this union, two children were born; Samuel and Nicholas.
Becky worked as an administrative assistant for Facilities Management at Central Community College in Hastings.
Becky was preceded in death by her parents and two nieces, Sarah and Jessica.
