Effie P. Winters, 79, of New Lebanon, OH, went home to be with the Lord on Monday morning, April 3, 2017 at her residence. Born August 17, 1937 in Lawshe, OH, she was a daughter of the late Marion and Nellie (Little) Earls. A member of Trinity Lighthouse Church in Dayton, she retired after 24 years from Monarch Marking in Miamisburg, OH. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by brothers Clyde, Johnny, Delmar, Payton Earls; sisters Etta Graves, Lillian Irwin, Bernice Raines and Stella Lyons.

Survived by husband Clayton D. Winters, whom she married January 11, 1958; son Chad Winters of Dayton; daughter Candi Hundley and husband Jeremy of New Lebanon; grandson Aaron Hundley of New Lebanon, granddaughter Kylie Hundley of New Lebanon; sister Ruth Bovee of Melbourne, FL.

Friends may call on the family from 1:00 - 3:00 PM Sunday, April 9, 2017 at the Robert L. Crooks Funeral Center at Preble Memory Gardens - 3377 US Rt. 35 - West Alexandria, OH. Funeral services will follow beginning at 3:00 PM with Pastor Nathan Hundley presiding.
