Major League Baseball Player. Played Major League baseball for two season (1928 and 1929) with the St. Louis Browns. Although his career lasted only two years, he was the Browns starting second baseman in 1928, replacing Ski Melillo, who had been hampered by injuries that year. he masde the most of his starting time, playing in 135 games, batting .244, hitting 10 Home Runs, and knocking in 66 RBIs. Melillo came back the next year, and Otis Brannan played only 23 more games before leaving the Major Leagues. He ended with a career of 158 Games Played, 11 Home Runs, 74 RBIs and a .249 Batting average.
