DERRICK RUSSELL, a resident of Springdale, Arkansas was born May 31, 1964 in Green Forest, Arkansas, son of Tommy “T.D.” and Peggy Joe (McCoy) Russell. He departed this life Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Springdale, Arkansas at the age of 52 years.
Derrick had a young, artistic soul and his kind heart shone through his smile. His empathetic expressions of compassion, encouragement, wisdom, and humor will live on forever through his children and grandchild.
He is survived by his three children, Tyler Russell; Corie Mantegani and husband, Joseph; Nicole Russell and boyfriend, Jason Lovelady; and grandson, Elijah Lovelady all of Springdale; siblings, Robyn Goodman and husband, Tim, of Green Forest; Shane Russell and wife, Michelle, of Branson, Missouri; Scott Russell and wife, Sandra, of Green Forest; sister-in-law, Donna Gilbert of Blue Eye, Missouri; several nieces, nephews, a host of friends and loved ones.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Tommy “T.D.” & Peggy Joe (McCoy) Russell and one brother, Joel Bud Russell.
Gathering of Remembrance with family and friends will be 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 3, 2017 at the Nelson’s Green Forest Chapel, Green Forest, Arkansas with Pastor Jerry Scitern officiating.
