Veronica Mohr Morgan was born in 1915 to Henry and Martha Kreaser [originally may have been Kreischer, in German] Mohr. Her life was one of intelligence, class and grace; it was fully and successfully lived. It was a life emulated and appreciated by those whose joy it was to know her. She died with dignity, faith and pride at the home of her daughter and best friend, Martha. Veronica attended both Holy Trinity Grammar School and the Convent School and was a member of the first graduating class of St. John the Baptist Academy in 1933. She received her diploma from the Syracuse Secretarial School and served as a dedicated employee for the NYS Dept. of Parole/Corrections, where she was awarded recognition for competence in her field. Additionally, she served on the board of directors of Eastwood Litho. A founding member of St. Ann's RC Church in Syracuse, she served as a VP of the Altar and Rosary Society and was a communicant for over 50 years. She served the community for many years as a Girl Scout Troop leader and Summer Day Camp director. Veronica enjoyed traveling and spent time in Europe and Africa. She was an avid bridge player, fine needle crafter and musician.
