Patricia "Pat" Marie Molloy, of The Villages, FL, passed away on April 1, 2017, in Florida. She was born March 6, 1943, in Boston, MA.
She graduated from Quincy High School in 1960, in the same class as her husband, Francis X. Molloy. They married on July 3, 1965. Pat had various careers throughout her life: she worked at New England Tel and Tel, the Personal Insurance business, and, after moving to New Jersey, she entered Police Administration. She finished her career working in the personal health field. Pat boldly enjoyed life wherever she lived, including Boston, Quincy, and Foxboro, MA, and Southampton, NJ. She and her husband adventurously moved to Munich, Germany for two years before returning to NJ, just long enough to find, move to, and embrace life in The Villages, FL in 2005.
Pat was passionate about volunteering and it represented her loving and compassionate nature. She volunteered for many years in Animal Rescue in MA and NJ. While in NJ, she became a certified EMT and simultaneously volunteered with three different community emergency squads. She also became a 5-year volunteer in the Emergency Room of The Villages Regional Hospital.  While raising 3 great children, working and volunteering, Pat found time to enter the high-tech field of Amateur Radio and became a licensed Amateur Radio Operator – N1AVW. Pat was also an avid crafter and especially enjoyed scrapbooking and card making. She handmade numerous scrapbooks for all her grandchildren to capture and preserve memories of their life and times together.
Pat, aka "Princess of Forgets-a-Lot", was a long time member of the Red Hats, and enjoyed the camaraderie of her sisters. She was also involved in many diverse groups and organizations including yoga, bone-builders, Operation Shoebox, and indoor volleyball, where she often competed in the local and state Senior Games.
She is survived by her husband Frank and their 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Her daughter, April Lynch and granddaughter Jessica live in Orlando, FL. Her son Scott and his wife Monica live in Holliston, MA with her grandchildren Lily and Zoë; her grandchild Matthew and great-grandchildren Gabriella and Lucas live in Foxboro, MA. Her son Sean and his wife Susan live in Cherry Hill, NJ, with her grandchildren Lauren, Stephanie and Ryan.
Pat was the only child of Patrick Joseph Cummings of Scranton, PA, and Mary Marguerite Bonia of Medford, MA. Both parents are deceased.
A memorial service will be held at a later date, to be announced.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Research Institute, or any Cancer Charity of your choosing.
