Patricia Ann Roy, age 67, of Nancy, KY, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at Somerset Nursing and Rehab.
Patricia was born on February 16, 1950 to the late Solendar and Esther Barber Roberts. She has attended Jabez Christian Home Church the last several years. She loved old gospel church songs and old time preaching. Patricia also loved quilting, crocheting, gardening and her two little doggies. She was a homemaker and helpmate to her husband, Oval, who preceded her in 2011.
She is survived by three sisters, Glenda Sue Roberts, Laura Jean Roberts and Margaret (and Lonza) Stephens all of Jabez; three brothers, Eldon (and Donna) Roberts of Jabez, Daniel Roberts of Indianapolis, Ind. and Gordon Roberts of Somerset; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Oval F. Roy, whom she was married to for 41 years; and one brother, Barry Thomas Roberts.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 from 9:00am until 12:00pm at Lake Cumberland Funeral Home.
Her funeral service will follow the visitation on Wednesday, April 5, 2017 at 12:00pm at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home with Bro. Billy Carroll, Bro. Mark Polston and Eric Stephens officiating. Burial will be at Lakeside Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Eric Stephens, Lowell Gene Roy, Raymond Johnson, Delbert McGowan, Milburn Decker and Roger Baird.
