He was born on June 3, 1930 in the Town of Franklin, son of the late Edward and Anne (Kubsch) Paul Sr. On February 4, 1948, Edward married the former Lydia Riederer at St. Michael's Catholic Church, Whitelaw. He was employed with Paragon Electric until his retirement in 1985.
Survivors include his wife of 69 years: Lydia Paul; their children: Sandra (Manuel) Martinez, Texas; Linda Peterson, Minnesota, Luann Paul, Manitowoc, Mary Bast, California, Debra (Brian) Simmer, Manitowoc, Roger (Janet) Paul, Manitowoc, and Randall (Denise) Paul, Sheboygan; and one sister: Laverne Denk, Manitowoc. He is further preceded in death by one son-in-law: Dennis Peterson; one sister and two brothers-in-law: Mildred (Emil) Swetlik and Kennth Denk; and 14 brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at St. Francis of Assisi on Marshall, 1114 South 21st Street, Manitowoc. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. David Pleier. Burial will follow the service at Calvary Cemetery.
