Ted William “Bill” Moore, 74, of Fraley Road, Salt Lick, KY, passed away Monday December 12, 2016 at University Of Kentucky Medical Center in Lexington, KY.

Born June 7, 1942 at Salt Lick, KY, he was the son of the late Luke Moore and the late Anna Belle Townsand Moore.

Survivors include his wife Virgalene Traylor Moore, 1 daughter, Tina Crum, 2 sons, Billy Moore and Troy Moore, 5 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren, 8 step-great-grandchildren, 2 sisters, Peggy McCarty and Sandy Hardin, 2 brothers, Bob Ferguson and John Copher and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Janet Copher and a brother, James Ferguson.

Services will be conducted Sunday December 18, 2016 at 4:00 PM at Powell Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM Sunday until service time at the funeral home.

Bill’s family has requested that in Bill’s memory, everyone wear casual clothing, especially jeans and T-shirts, weather permitting.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Toys For Tots program in care of Abundance Of Rain Ministries, 6367 East Highway 60, Salt Lick, KY 40371.
