Walter L. Fitzgerald, 325 South Fulton street, died in Lee Memorial Hospital Tuesday at 6:30 p.m., after a long illness. He was 93 years ago.
A retired farmer, he was taken to the hospital from the Cass county medical care facility. He was born July 25, 1874 in Fairbury, Ill. He lived in Cassopolis 45 years. He married Ivah Walters April 5, 1905 in Pennfield, Ill.
Besides his widow, he leaves [...omitted for privacy...].
Friends may call at the Connelly funeral home starting Wednesday afternoon. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Thursday. Rev. Joseph Wood and Rev. John Little will officiate. Burial will be in the Reames and Norton cemetery.
