He is preceded in death by his parents Edison Wheeler Kirby and Lula Mullican Kirby; granddaughter Jordan Kirby Long; siblings: Audrey Sams, Azel Kirby, Joe Kirby, Berta Mae Cobb, Sylvis Haynes, Gertie Hopper, and Nell Montgomery.

Visitation will be at Peck Funeral Home on Monday from 6:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M. The funeral will take place on Tuesday morning at 11:00 A.M. at Hartselle Memorial Gardens.

Henry was inducted into the U.S. Army on March 30, 1951, during the Korean Conflict. After his military service, he was a carpenter for many years for Mr. Homer Hutchinson, and retired as a coil mill operator of Wolverine Tube, Inc. after over 30 of dedicated service. Henry was a member of Johnson Chapel Methodist Church of Danville, Alabama.
