She is survived by one brother, James Brown, her children: Elizabeth Thomas (James), John Briggs, Fran Briggs, Veronika Briggs-Benion, James Briggs II, and Beverly Brice (Darryl). She is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary Elizabeth Briggs; and husband, James Briggs.
