Gwendolyn Carol Phillips, 64, of Fayetteville passed away April 2, 2017.
Gwen was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Knopp; mother, Edna Whaley; step-father, Richard Whaley; sons, Jamie Worley and Ray Worley; daughter, Melissa Patrick; grandson, Conner Patrick; and unborn grandchild.
She is survived by her sisters, Vianna (Jerry) Wilkerson and Deborah (Ed) Mashburn; nephews, Micah Walden and Kristofer Davis; nieces, Shannon French, Tricia Wilkerson, Vianna (Brian) Ross, Keri Davis, and Brianne Mashburn; and many great and great-great nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held Monday, April 3, 2017, at 3:00PM, at the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville, with Pastor Jeff Merritt officiating. Burial will follow at Flat Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 – 3:00 PM at the funeral home prior to the service.
