Jerry W. Mills, Jr, 23, formerly of Arkansas City died Tuesday, November 29, 2005 in Taji, Iraq. Jerry was born June 16, 1982 to Jerry W. Mills, Sr and Theresa J. Dunn Mills in Arkansas City. He graduated from Arkansas City High School in 2001. Jerry joined the United States Army, stationed at Ft. Riley and was currently serving in Iraq with Alpha / 1-13 Arm Bat/ 3 ID. He is survived by his father, Jerry W. Mills, Sr. of Arkansas City; mother, Theresa of Oklahoma; sister, Kimberly Jacobs of Wichita; grandfather, Jimmy Mills, Sr of Arkansas City and grandparents, Lowell and Darlene Pickle of Arkansas City. Jerry was preceded in death by his grandmother, Marcia Mills. A memorial has been established with the Army Fisher House Organization to assist with family expenses traveling to Germany visiting injured soldierÂ’s.
