Alex James Rudd
May 22, 1989 ~ February 25, 2017 (age 27)

Alex James Rudd passed away February 25, 2017 in Midvale, UT.

He had an adventurous spirit and embraced trying new things. He was an accomplished ballroom and folk dancer, advanced EMT, entrepreneur and tri-athlete. Alex loved fishing and hunting with his dad and brother. When he wasn’t coming up with ideas for the next big adventure he spent his time making others laugh and playing Xbox.

He was seemingly unstoppable and bounced back time and time again – like that one time he had a brain tumor discovered only after being hit by a car while bike riding.

Alex graduated from Hillcrest High School and attended Brigham Young University. He served in the LDS New York, New York South Spanish and American Sign Language mission. Alex worked at Blender Bottle in Provo, UT before relocating to Seattle, WA to work at Vertafore as a Senior Manager of Digital Marketing Platforms.

Born May 22, 1989 to Robert Rudd and Marla Folau, Alex will be sorely missed by his mother, father, step-father (Dave), brother Jesse (Shantelle) Rudd, sister Lainey (Herb) Davis and step brothers and sisters Tracey Folau, Julie (Paul) Alusa, Christopher Folau and Jana Folau. Also grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces and nephews.

A private, family viewing will be held prior to a graveside service beginning at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 3, 2017 at Crescent Cemetery located at 11105 S. State Street Sandy, UT.

Published in the Salt Lake Tribune 3-2-17 and Aspen Funeral Home.

REST IN SWEET ETERNAL PEACE ALEX
