Arthur F. Welch, age 94, passed away Saturday, April 01, 2017, at 3:15 a.m. at Wildwood Ranch in Joplin, Mo. Arthur was born October 20, 1922, to David Welch and Edna Unhru Welch in Purcell, Mo., and was the youngest of six children. He had worked at Eagle Pitcher in Joplin. Arthur married Bonnie Clark November 16, 1996, in Duenweg, Mo., and she survives. Additional survivors include nephews, Gene Welch, Wayne Welch, Roy Lee Welch, and Cecil Welch; niece, Treva Gibson; and other numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by brothers, James, Charles, Lloyd, and George; and sister, Lenora. Graveside services for Arthur will be 11 a.m. Monday at Purcell Cemetery with his nephew, Gene Welch, officiating.
