He retired from Solutia after 38 years of service. He loved to garden and always loved to share with his family and friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Curtis and Velvie Watson Freeman, brother, Douglas Freeman and sister Jeanette Godwin.
Survivors include wife of 59 years Louise Freeman of Milton, FL; Two daughters Brenda Freeman Tolbert (Timothy R. "Turkey" Tolbert) and Judy Saylor of Milton, FL; eight grandchildren Tonya (Adam) Sims, Guy McNaughton, Robyn Barrow, John Ray Matthews, Shelly (Kevin) Bass, Nick (Brittany) English; Six great-grandchildren Luke Watson, Brook and Kevin Barrow, Hunter, Maddy and Tristin Bass; Sisters include Audrey Cook of Pace, FL and Helen Clark of Milton, FL; Several nieces and nephews and a host of special friends throughout his lifetime.
The family would like to thank Dr. Joudeh and staff, Dr. Fountain and staff and the Woodlands for all of the love and support you have given to Daddy. We also thank the nurses of Kindred Health Care, Pruitt Health Care and Covenant Hospice for always taking such good care of him.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until Funeral service begins at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, April, 3, 2017 at the Funeral Home.
There will be a procession after funeral to Ardfield Church of Christ for an additional visitation at 3:30 p.m. Burial will follow at Ardfield Cemetery
