(Age 93)

Cecil C. Hunter, Jr., passed away March 28, 2017 in Spokane, WA.

He was born August 2, 1923 in Bakersville, NC to Cecil and Inez Hunter. Cecil's family moved several times during his younger years, finally settling in Spokane.

During World War II he met Helen McCoy while working in propeller manufacturing at Hamilton Standard. They later married and celebrated 73 years together.

Cecil and Helen loved ballroom dancing. Cecil worked as a design engineer for Kaiser Aluminum, retiring after 31 years there.

Cecil was preceded in death by his wife Helen (on March 2nd of this year) and by his parents.

He is survived by his daughter Pam (Carl) Snyder; son Ron (Valerie) Hunter; five grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren; he is also survived by brother Robert Hunter and sister Marilyn Endsley.

A Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM on Friday, April 7, 2017, at Hazen & Jaeger Funeral Home, 1306 N Monroe St, Spokane, WA, with burial to follow at Fairmount Memorial Park.
