General Grant of R.K.O. was born in California in 1928, and was owned by S. Almond of R.K.O. Kennels. In 1932, he was sent to New York, to President-elect Franklin D. Roosevelt. He was given or sold to Arthur and Gabrielle Forbush. Gabrielle and Arthur wrote a book on raising bulldogs. FDR's mother published a book, "My Boy Franklin," as told to Gabrielle Forbush, about the same time that General Grant was sent to the Roosevelts. His services as a stud were advertised in Washington D.C. newspapers in the mid-1930s. Also known as Jiggs. He died in 1938.
