Hedemark (Daly) (nee Hermes), Anne Jeanne age 94 of Waconia, MN died peacefully on Thursday, March 23, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dr. Homer Hedemark; 7 siblings and daughter, Nancy Daly. Anne grew up in Fairmount, ND and graduated from high school in 1939 and completed her nursing program in 1943. In 1944 Anne enlisted in the US Army Nurse Corp and was assigned to duty in the Pacific, stationed in Guam. She obtained her degree in Public Health Nursing from the University of Minnesota in 1951. In September, 1951 she began her Public Health Nursing career in Ortonville MN and continued serving Big Stone County as the Public Health Nurse until her retirement in 1977.
