FLORENCE - Patricia Ann Johns died peacefully on April 1, 2017, at home in Florence. She was 74. Pat was born May 24, 1942, in Detroit, Michigan, the daughter of the late James and Marie Herron.

Pat was raised in Missoula and attended Sacred Heart Academy and graduated in 1961. She met and married Calvin Rex. They had four children together. She divorced in 1971. She married her late husband Rance Edden in 1976 and was married for 18 years. Pat is now married to her loving husband of 17 years, John "Scotty" Johns.

Pat worked in construction for 25 years building new homes. She loved quilting, gardening, genealogy, photography, going on back country horse pack trips, books, music and dancing. She loved her horses, dogs and cats. She was a loyal friend who touched many lives. To know her was to love her.

Pat is survived by her husband John Thomas Johns of Butte. Her brother, James Raymond Herron. Her son, Darin Dwayne Rex and her three daughters, Theresa Ann Lott, Julie Ann Fullerton and Melodie Ann Day. She has 14 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. The family suggests that memorial donations may be made in Pat’s name to your local animal shelter
