Mr. Cecil Henry Lucas, age 74, of Forrest City, died Thursday at his home in Forrest City. He had been in poor health for the past fourteen months.

Mr. Lucas was born June 5, 1942, in Earle, Arkansas, and was the son of Jabe Lucas and Lorene Dugan Lucas. He lived in Forrest City all of his life, was a Veteran of the National Guard, and was a painter.

Mr. Lucas married Suzanne 'Suzy' Frames in 1987, and she survives him along with one daughter, Jennifer Ann Lucas McNeal, and husband, Adam, of Conway, three sisters; Marilyn Lucas of Nashville, Tennessee, B. Lucas Thrower, and husband, Mike, and Hazel Lucas, all of Franklin, Tennessee, and three grandchildren; Liam, Scarlett, and Henry, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. He had three brothers; Jabe Lloyd Lucas, Marvin Dale Lucas, and Melvin Eugene Lucas, who all preceded him in death.

Services for Mr. Lucas will be held at Stevens Funeral Home Chapel, 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, with burial in Forrest Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, 1:00 P.M., until the time of the service.
