Barbara A. Hartley, 85 of Gettysburg, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Transitions Healthcare in Gettysburg.

Born Dec. 7, 1931 in Gettysburg, she was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Hockensmith) Little Sr.

Barbara was predeceased by her husband Robert C. Hartley, who died in 2006.

She was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Gettysburg.

Barbara is survived by her four children, James Hartley of California, Susan E. McDannell and husband Jay of Gettysburg, Jack Hartley and wife Raeann of Spring Grove, and Ross Hartley and wife Michelle of Gettysburg; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a brother William Little Jr. of Gettysburg.

She was predeceased by two brothers, Bennie and Robert Little.

A graveside funeral service and burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, April 3, 2017, at the Evergreen Cemetery in Gettysburg.
