Bettie Lou Vaughn Shores, age 82 of Cowan, Tennessee, passed away on Friday, March 31, 2017 at The Willows of Winchester Nursing Home in Winchester.
Born in Cowan, Tennessee to the late Elbert and Bessie (Cole) Vaughn, she was a devoted wife, homemaker, mother, and lifelong member of the Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Robert Shores. She is survived by daughters Glenda Shores Harris of Nashville, and Faye Shores Ralston of Winchester, sons, Greg Shores of Belvidere and Garry Shores of Cowan; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1:30 - 3:00 Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Cowan Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Funeral Services will be held at 3 PM with Rev. Ronnie Pittenger officiating.
