Charles Lawton Williford, 55, of Brooks passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2017. He was born on August 29, 1961 to Charles E. and Lewellyn Williford.

He was a graduate of Jonesboro High School and continued his education at the University of West Georgia earning a degree in Business Management.

Chuck was a retired Army Reservist and was employed at United Radio in Peachtree City. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

Chuck is survived by his parents, Eddie and Lewellyn Williford; sister, Lee Ann (Tom) Bartlett; and niece, Alex Bartlett. Other very special family members include aunt, Margaret Dorsey; uncle, Arlin Hembree; cousins, Gordon (Deidre) Dorsey and Carlton (Karen) Dorsey and Kevan, Eric and Jenna Dorsey.

The funeral service will be at 2:00, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at Brooks United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Adamson and Rev. Lesley Langford. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Carmel Methodist Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00-2:00 PM prior to the service at the church.
