Jessie Lucille Parker, 94, known to all who loved her as Lucille, passed away on Sunday, March 26, 2017.

Lucille was born Sept. 13, 1922 in Tennessee.

On Feb. 27, 1946, she married Claiborne Parker, who preceded her in death on Dec. 10, 2008.

In 1952 they moved to Indiana, where they raised four sons, residing in Putnam County, since 1977.

She is survived by Jerry (Carole) Parker of Morton, Charles (Cheryl) Parker of Tucson, Ariz., Danny (Teresa) Parker of Bainbridge, and Denny (Janice) Parker of Greencastle. She was the proud grandmother to seven granddaughters and five grandsons, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, April 2 at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, Greencastle. Interment will follow at the Bainbridge Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from noon until time of service on Sunday at the funeral home.
