Patricia "Pat" Ann Williams McCool of Sheridan, Arkansas was born January 30, 1940 in Leola, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Henry Pryor Williams and Ethel Leona Evans Williams. She was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church in Sheridan. She enjoyed doing puzzles and was a volunteer at the VA Hospital in Little Rock, having served over 10,000 hours. Just a few of the causes that she volunteered for, on behalf of Veterans, was for many years, to organize a Christmas party at Ft. Roots, for the in-house Veterans, she served as a member of the DAV Women’s Auxillary since 1978, during which time, she served 2 terms as Commander, and she helped organize the V.A.’s Van transport system, so that Veteran’s across Arkansas, and even parts of Oklahoma, could have a way to get to their doctor’s appointments in Little Rock.

Mrs. McCool died Friday, March 31, 2017 at UAMS in Little Rock at the age of 77.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Katherine Lewis, Jessie Jones and Ruby Barnes.

Survivors: husband of 58 years, Lloyd Gene McCool of Sheridan; sons, Rick McCool and wife Janice of Sheridan, Scott McCool and wife Julie of Austin, Joshua McCool and wife Brooke of Ward; brother, Henry Williams and wife June of Bismarck; 3 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Monday, April 3, 2017 at Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Michael Walton officiating. Burial will follow at Hampton Springs Cemetery (Dallas County). Visitation will be Sunday, 2:00-4:00 p.m., at the funeral home.
