Mrs Willie Ella Cross, age 96, passed away peacefully at home on June 1, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, James E. Cross, Sr., her parents, Isaac and Bessie Farsee, brothers, Isaiah, Joseph, Melvin and Clarence Farsee, and sisters, Bessie Morrow, Etta Marie Hammond, Virginia Barnett, and Dorothy Burt. Beloved mother of James E Cross Jr., Deloris L Bland, Helen J White, Carolyn E Haywood (Lawrence), Jacquelin C Walton (Charles) and three grandchildren for whom she held guardianship; Toiya S Jones, Arvron A White, and JaChel D Redmond (Micaela). She leaves her sisters Ethel Daughtery and Mary Payne (Jackson). She also leaves twenty-four grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren ,seven great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Visitation, Monday June 6 2016, 10:00 AM until time of her homegoing celebration at 11:00 AM at Greater Middle Baptist Church, 4982 Knight Arnold Rd. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery, Poplar
