Lana Rae Young was born Dec. 14, 1938, in Vallejo, Calif., and passed away peacefully at home on March 12, 2017, surrounded by her dear and caring lifetime partner, Andy Wolf, her sons, Morgan Allen and Evan Allen and her friend, Laura Stearns. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Britton, Britani, Bobby, Arianna, Ian and Talen; and great-grandchild, Haylie Jo.

Lana was a longtime resident of Pollock Pines, Calif. — more than 50 years — where she made lifelong friendships. She was a gourmet chef, Master Gardener, artist, card shark and so much more. She and Andy made many trips to Mexico in their motorhome where they camped on the beach, ate fresh seafood and watched the sunsets with their dogs, Bugs, Teddy and Roxy, who brought her much love and laughter.

Lana lived life to the max and would frequently say so. She believed the opinion which other people have of you is their problem, not yours. She will be forever in our hearts. Card games and a party are pending.
