Passed away Monday after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease.

Daughter of Fred and Nancy Shoup Steinke.
Married M. Keith Baird June 4, 1955. He preceded her in death in 2014.
Survivors include children Katherine Seward, John (Julie) Baird, Jane (Chuck) Weisenbach and Karl (Brenda) Baird; grandchildren Nathaniel, Clayton and Peter Seward; Nick, Katie and Conner Baird; Max, Sam and Grace Weisenbach; David and Holly Baird and Janvier Caraballo; sister Dorothy Schleef; sister-in-law Virginia Phillips.
She was also preceded in death by brothers Robert, Fred and Harold Steinke and sister Mary Choitz.

Graduate of Mishawaka High School.
1954 graduate of Lutheran Hospital of Nursing in Ft. Wayne, IN.

She loved gardening, reading, and being with her family.

She was active with the Art League of Crawfordsville, the Rotary Jail Museum, and Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Memorial service 1pm April 13 at Light of Life Lutheran Church, Greenwood, IN.

Memorial donations to the Crawfordsville Public Library.
