Clyde W. Kelly, 68, of Washington, WV died Thursday March 30, 2017 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born in Parkersburg, WV a son of the late Jennings W. and Norene (Brooks) Kelly.
Clyde attended West Virginia University and later received his degree from WVU-Parkersburg. When he was younger he was active with Parkersburg Masonic Lodge #3. He worked for P & I Supplies and really enjoyed the time he spent working for ASRC Energy in Valdez, Alaska. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and golfing and was a member of the Bass Club in Ravenswood. He was also a big Mountaineer fan.
He is survived by his wife Vickie Kelly; daughter Marsha Kelly Settle (Rick) of Washington and Kendra Kelly Smith (Scott) of Parkersburg; six grandchildren Ryan West (Ashley Peck) and their son Peyton, Wesley Hafer, Madison Settle, Cameron and Chandler Clegg, and Devan Smith; a brother John Robert Kelly of Parkersburg; and a sister Nancy Goelz of Myrtle Beach, SC.
Services will be Saturday 3:00 PM at Leavitt Funeral Home, Parkersburg. Burial will be at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 1-3 PM.
