FOSTER, VIOLA JEAN "JEAN", Age 88, of West Whiteland, PA, passed away Monday, March 27, 2017 surrounded by her family at Pottstown Memorial Medical Center in Montgomery County, PA. She was the beloved wife of John L. Foster, with whom she celebrated 65 years of marriage. Born in Connellsville, PA. She was the daughter of the late Thomas W. and Mary E. Blackwell.

She is survived by her husband, John L. Foster of Spring City, PA; her son, Thomas W. Foster (Luna) of West Chester; two daughters, Patsy A. Barnett (Donald) of Burlington, NJ, Viola J. Cunningham (George) of Exton, PA; 7 grandchildren - Dionna N. Harris (Omar), Vincent M. Annerhed-Harris (Karin), John L. Foster, II (Tiffany) Whitnee M. Williams, Monique N. Foster, Edward A. Williams, Jr., Dominique S. Foster; 7 great grandchildren, Morgan A. Miller, Ashley B. Harris, Barry O. Harris, Aaron T. Foster, Avery Foster, Maya E. Annerhed-Harris, Maxx V. Annerhed-Harris, 2 sisters-in law Councilwoman Jannie Blackwell and Dorothy Blackwell and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by four brothers, Thomas Blackwell, Charles Blackwell, Honorable Lucien E. Blackwell and Junious Blackwell; four sisters, Mary B. Kennedy, Audrey Farthing, Patsy Davis and Iva Blackwell.

Homegoing Services will be held at 4 P.M. Sunday, April 2, 2017, at New Life In Christ Fellowship, 1 South 5th Avenue, Coatesville, PA. A viewing will be held from 2 to 3:45 P.M.
Interment will be held 11 A.M. Monday, April 3 in Mount Lawn Cemetery, 84th Street and Hook Road, Sharon Hill, PA. Arr. by WRIGHT FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, INC.
