Oneta Ritchie Ott, passed away March 29, 2017 in Terrell surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 19, 1921 in Kaufman County, Tx to Neb and Maudie Jay (Baxter) Hargrove. She was met in Heaven by her Savior, her parents, her husbands, Wayne Ritchie, who passed in 1980, and Wilbert Ott, who passed in 1996 and eight brothers and sisters.

Oneta had been a faithful member of both First United Methodist Church where she taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She was also a devoted member of College Mound United Methodist church where she was active in the United Methodist Womens Ministry as well as other ministries.

She leaves to cherish her memory her children: Barbara Kines of Terrell, Larry Ritchie and wife, Vicki of Holly Lake Ranch, Susan Zagorski and husband Edward of Las Colinas; grandchildren: Carey Kines and husband David Kellogg, Kimberly Rediehs and Tom, Cole Ritchie, Emily Zagorski and Anna Zagorski; great grandchildren: Nick Rediehs and wife, Jenny; John Rediehs and wife, Kristina, Kelly Gatz and husband Larry, Zachary Aiken and wife, Megan and Jillian Aiken; great-great grandchildren: Faith, Madison, Aubrey, and Payton Aiken, Harvey, Weston, and Ellen Rediehs, and Taylor Gatz as well as several nieces, nephews, extended family and a host of friends including special and devoted friend, Jerry Smith.

Oneta will be laid to rest next to Wayne at 10:30am, Saturday, April 1, 2017 at College Mound Cemetery with a celebration of her life and legacy at 11:30am, at College Mound United Methodist Church.
