"Elmer Raymond Todd, Sr. age 88, of Fordyce, died Wednesday, January 31, 2007.
"He was born in Benton, Illinois on March 30, 1918 to the late Silas & Delphia Briley Todd.
"Todd was a retired boilermaker, and a Baptist.
"Survivors include his wife, Eula Todd of Fordyce; three sons, Daniel Stephens of Strousburgh, PA, James Stephens of Burlington, VT, Elmer Todd Jr. of Fordyce; two daughters, Rosemary Banks of Clarksville, TN, Angela Sartin & husband Calvin of Thornton; one brother, Virgil Todd of Potosi, MO; one sister, Linda Welsh of St. Louis, MO; five grandchildren, and five great grandchildren.
"Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers, John, Delmar, Silas & Clifford Todd.
"Funeral services were held at 2:00 pm Saturday, February 3, in the Benton Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Ebenezer Cemetery by Benton Funeral Home of Fordyce.
