MINNIE WINFIELD
Minnie P. Winfield, 89 of Kahoka, died Tuesday, Feb. 20, 1990 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka.
Funeral services were held at the Schaffer & Sons Memorial Chapel in Kahoka on Friday, Feb. 23 with burial in the Kahoka Cemetery.
Mrs. Winfield was the daughter of Garrett and Mary (Snow) Moncrief and she was born in La Plata, Missouri, on Wednesday, July 4, 1900. She was united in marriage to Edward Hobb and later married George Winfield and he preceded her in death on June 2, 1971.
She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Helen Schultz of Winfield, Iowa, and Mrs. Irene Bogener of Revere; four sisters, Alice Williams of La Plata, Norine Chalupnik of Spring Valley, California, Leona Sheehan of Spring Valley, California, and Eva Birch of Las Vegas, Nevada; four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and eleven great-great-grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; two sons, Lawrence Hobb and Delbert Hobb; one daughter, Wanetta Barr; three brothers, Clarence, Willie and Wilse; four sisters, Mary, Annie, Jessie, Beulah; and one grandson, Richard Barr.
She was of the Presbyterian faith.
